The villages of Tivetshall St. Margaret and Tivetshall St. Mary are situated in South Norfolk, just off the A140 Norwich to Ipswich Road, south of Long Stratton and north of Diss.

Tivetshall Village Hall, which serves both villages, is a modern, light and airy building situated on Green Lane in Tivetshall St. Margaret. The current Hall was built in 1997 and has been recently refurbished and redecorated.

The Hall is a registered charity and is run by a volunteer committee. It is home to a number of local clubs and regular activities. It is also available for hire for parties and functions, with a capacity of 220 (standing or close seating) or 150 seated at tables.

The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and Tivetshall

As you must know, Queen Elizabeth II celebrates her Diamond Jubilee this year. We, in Tivetshall, are planning to hold an event for the village in honour of the occasion but we need all the help we can get! There has never been a better time to get involved, so if you are even remotely interested in helping in any small way you can, please come along to our next planning meeting in the village hall at 8:00pm on Tuesday 20th March.
